ANNUAL REPORT  2019

Greetings to you  ,

I feel honored to extend a hearty welcome  to our School..

Bankar Patil Public School is a part of Shivaji Shikshan Prasarak Mandal  which was established in 1993. It will establish many institutions under the able guidance of Hon. Ambadasji Balaji Bankar, Founder of SSSPM.

A child once admitted to Nursery Class can pass out as a highly qualified professional up to Post Graduation  and even go  for higher studies in any of the institutions / universities throughout the world.

The Annual Report showcases the achievements and glories of our school, undoubtedly, but also makes us think deeply about our shortcomings. We have always been committed to create an environment in the school which helps the young minds to blossom and provide a platform for individual thinking and holistic development of the child’s personality.

We set standards and goals for ourselves and strive to achieve them – be it in the area of academics, sports, discipline, leadership and more.

Each year , BPPS holds the Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony to honour those of its students who have made the school proud with their brilliant efforts not only in the academic field but also in the co-curricular areas. This year it was held on Republic Day

I wish to begin with our performance on the academic front. Achieving academic excellence is at the heart of our endeavour as educators. Academic achievements reflect a demonstrated ability to perform to the best of one’s ability by developing one’s intellectual potentials and skills with diligence and ardour. We are happy to share the details of the commendable performances of our students of Classes Nursery to Grade  VI

Excellence in academics is the hall-mark of a good institution & the results of the school prove without an iota of doubt that our students have made us proud.

OLYMPIAD

Participation in the English, Science, Maths, G.K. , Cyber, itself is the biggest competition where a student competes to outshine others. It infuses a healthy competitive spirit through reward based assessment.

16 students were awarded the gold medals, 3 were awarded the Silver Medals & 2 were awarded Bronze Medals  for their meritorious performance in International Olympiad Examinations.

Abacus ….

In the 7^th National Abacus Competition 2019, was held at Pune, Hembade Soham, Kharadkar Rudra, Pagare Purva , Pawar Tejas and Bankar Kshitij were the achievers respectively.

Science Exhibition

This year we organised Firsts, Theme Base Model Presentation for the students of Pre-primary  Section  and School Level Science Exhibition for the students of Primary Section

Our little students were participated Science Exhibition at Tehsil Level.  This year again , our little Scientist bagged FIRST prize in  Primary Section. Along with the theme based models ….. students were participate in Science Exhibition.

Maths Musti ….

In Math Masti Competition, organised by the Central Board of IT and Vocational  Training  , our students achieved glorious success . They showed their mathematical talent and made us proud.

SPORTS

Sports competitions inculcate the spirit of positive challenges & sportsmanship among the students and prepare them for the life ahead. Sports, Games and Physical Fitness occupy a place of importance in our curriculum. Our students actively participated in different sports competitions and won medals, certificates and trophies.

The students of the school are divided into four different houses, Worriers, Spartans , Stealers  and Titans. Each House is managed by Teachers and Students as a  House Captain, House Vice-Captain and House Prefects. The House on duty performs its duty of conducting the day-to-day activities, competitions in systematic and disciplined manner.

SCHOOL CLUBS

Various Co-Curricular Activities are held under different Clubs to develop a child physically, morally, socially and mentally and to hone skills in co-scholastic areas. Regular Club Activities are held in which the students participate and display their caliber.

The different Clubs are Musical, Dance Club, Sports Club, Art and Craft Club, Excursion & Picnic Club, Language & Expression Club (Readers Club), , Eco Club, and Hobby Club.

In keeping with the school’s policy of continuous up gradation of knowledge and skills, our teachers attended various workshops and seminars organized by the school and others so as to improve their academic transaction skills and to update their capabilities.

 “Teachers are also learners.” Staying updated is the key to success in any field, especially, in education. Our teachers constantly strive to stay updated by attending workshops & various training program .

This year Bankar Patil Public School had conducted much appreciated workshop for our teachers on Teaching – Learning Pedagogy and Resource persons were Mrs. Shabana & Mr. Sidharth. We also had workshop on Ecofriendly Ganesh Idol, Use of Paper Bag  for all.  Students were participated.

VARIOUS DELEGATES VISIT TO BPPS

I feel extremely proud to inform you that Delegates visited the school along with their students, as the school continues its journey to invite people to create more opportunities to inquire, share , experience and understand the interconnected world we live in.

SELF – DEFENCE  –  AWARENESS

 “ I don’t even call it violence when it’s in Self Defence ; I call it Intelligence.

  Be an opponent, Not a victim. ”

Creating awareness among our students is the need of the time. Keeping in mind the safety of the children, sessions on Self-Defence for students was organized under the guidance of Mr. Shaikh. He encouraged the students to raise voice against any misconduct and bring them to book.

Various Activities/ Workshops

 “Ideas shape the course of history.

Throughout the year our school organized various workshops which was the window to the activities of our school. Such activities widen the knowledge and helps in developing the power of creativity of the budding inventers/ creators. The Report also highlights the successes and achievements of the school students.

Many milestones have been achieved and many still have to be reached. We at BPPS will continue our unceasing efforts to mould the young minds into well balanced personalities with confidence and zeal befitting the standards of this portal of education.

This report is a sincere attempt to showcase our progress in terms of achievements and activities during the year.

On this memorable occasion as we recount our success with pride and happiness, we wish to dedicate all our achievements to the committed effort of a committed team called Bankar Patil Public School. We humbly salute our visionary leaders of the present and seek divine grace and blessings to guide us in all our endeavors.
